FM1500 Series Automatic Swing Gate Opener
Specifically designed for rural farm and ranch style applications, the
PRO-SW1500 is the best solar gate operator on the market for lighter
weight gates. This versatile GTO/PRO gate operator is ideal on
vinyl, tubular steel, chain link or wood gates; and can be powered by
either a low voltage transformer or solar charger.

Features of SW1500 Gate Openers
- Will operate a gate up to 12’ (3.7 m) long weighing up to 350 lbs. (160 kg) each leaf.
- Full systems capable “add on ready” control board includes adjustable obstruction sensing, gate sequencing and auto close settings (0-120 seconds).
- Access ready package includes radio receiver, entry transmitter, AC transformer, and all necessary mounting hardware for a standard
installation.
- A standard automotive or marine battery housed in a standard battery box is required (not included), and can be found in most hardware, automotive, marine, or home center store locations.
- Accommodates push or pull-to-open installations.
- UL rated for Class I, II and III. System certified to be in compliance
with UL 325, 5th edition.

DRIVE
. Powered by a reliable 12 volt DC motor, totally enclosed gear drive system.
. Temperature rating of motor: -5° F (-28° C ) to +160° F ( 71° C).
. Opening time is 18-24 seconds.
. Range of arm stroke is up to 19" (48 cm). Operator length with
arm fully retracted is 37.25" (95 cm), mounting point to
mounting point.
POWER
. The PRO-SW1500 system is designed
to be powered by a standard
automotive or marine 12V battery. A
weatherproof battery box is required
and can be found in most hardware,
automotive, marine, or home center
store locations.
. Battery charge maintained by a
120 V AC/60 Htz input and 18 V AC
at 40 VA. output, transformer rectified
to 14 V DC through the GTO
Control Board.
NOTE: Transformer should never
be connected directly to any battery.
. OPTIONAL: GTO/PRO Solar Panel
Charger: float voltage 14.5 V DC
output from a 19-3/8" (49.21 cm)
x 15-1/4" (38.74 cm) silicon alloy
panel. Generates minimum of 10
watts at 600 mA. A gated diode
on the control board prevents
battery discharge.
. OPTIONAL: R4076 40' connection
cable and power cable, used with
a second SW1500 in dual gate
applications.
CONTROLS
. The GTO/PRO control board can be
programmed for pull-to-open or
push-to-open.
. Adjustable auto close, obstruction
sensitivity and dual gate sequencing.
. Auto-memorization of digital
transmitter code.
. Charging regulated circuit on
control board. "Sleep draw" is
40 mA; "active draw" is 2 to 5
amps.
. GTO/PRO remote-mounted RF
receiver tuned to 318 MHz.
OPERATIONAL CAPACITY
The PRO-SW1500 will handle gates
weighing up to 350 lbs. (160 kg)
or up to 12 ft. (3.7 m) in length (per
leaf). Note that ball bearing hinges
should be used on all gates weighing
over 250 lbs (113.4 kg). |

application. Provides both power and communication between the two
openers in a PRO-SW1500 dual opener system. In dual applications
